The name Good Company Coaching is more than just clever wordsmithing. We all are greatly affected by the company we keep (even the company and habits we keep with ourselves).

There is an old Turkish proverb “No road is long with good company.”

On the flip side… any road can be very long with bad company.

According to the Buddhist tradition, you must be good company to yourself and others.

In response to being asked about the importance of good company or admirable friendship. The Buddha reportedly replied,

“… Admirable friendship is actually the whole of the holy life. When a monk (or anyone else), has admirable people as friends… they can be expected to develop and pursue the Noble Eightfold Path.”
